The Latin American Group of Financial Reporting Standard Setters (Glenif) will host a webinar on August 29th at 1:00 PM (BRT UTC -3) to discuss the impacts of adopting IFRS S1 and S2 and their key aspects.
With the theme “Understanding the Impacts of Sustainability IFRS in Latin America,” the event will be a conversation with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) about IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 standards and the main ongoing projects. Additionally, the results of the adoption survey of sustainability standards in Latin America, conducted by Glenif’s Permanent Sustainability Commission, will be presented.
The webinar will feature the participation of Glenif’s President, José Luiz R. Carvalho; the Manager of Ibero-American Relations at the IFRS Foundation, Arturo Rodríguez; the Coordinator of Glenif’s Permanent Sustainability Commission, Laura Accifonte; and Glenif’s representative in the Sustainability Standards Advisory Forum (SSAF), Rocío Canal Garrido.
