Last Friday (28), the Glenif Board held its 4th extraordinary meeting. On the agenda were the entity’s contributions in response to the Standard Project: Methodology for Improving the International Applicability of SASB Standards and Updates to SASB Standard Taxonomy, open for comments until August 9th; and the IASB staff consultation on Equity Method. In addition, the GLENIF Code of Ethics was discussed and approved, and the results of the research conducted by the GLENIF Sustainability Committee were presented to determine the level of sustainability standards adoption in Latin American countries at the time of the publication of IFRS S by ISSB.
According to President José Luiz, the sustainability research results will be released soon on the organization’s website.
