Comisión de Normas de Contabilidad Financiera de Panamá (NOCOFIN)
The Comisión de Normas de Contabilidad Financiera de Panamá was created by the Junta Técnica de Contabilidad de Panamá in 1986. It is composed of public accountants appointed by professional accounting associations registered with the Junta Técnica de Contabilidad and certified public accountant professors from recognized Universities in Panama that offer accounting programs. The most important responsibility of this commission is the adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards in Panama.
