Consejo Técnico de la Contaduría Pública (CTCP)
The Consejo Técnico de la Contabilidad Pública – CTCP – is the technical standardization body for accounting standards, financial reporting, and information assurance in Colombia. It is a public entity, linked to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism.
Its main function is to present proposals to the Ministries of Finance and Public Credit and of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism so that they collectively establish principles, standards, interpretations, and guidelines for accounting and financial reporting and information assurance, mandatory for individuals and legal entities, as applicable.
