Colegio de Contadores de Chile

The Colégio de Contadores do Chile AG is an associative and non-profit institution, concerned with continuously contributing to the economic and social development of the country. Since its establishment by the Law No. 13.011 of 1958, it has been responsible for bringing together the country’s accountants, seeking excellence in the practice of the profession. To achieve this, the Colégio has a territorial organization that includes regional, provincial, and local branches, dedicated to providing quality services to all its members, without geographical barriers.

Among its main objectives is the development of national accounting technical standards, preserving professional practice within an ethical framework and providing continuous training to members in the various areas of accounting practice. Thus, the Colégio, for example, established almost thirty years ago an Institute of Professional Research and Development (Instituto de Investigación y Desarrollo Profesional – INDEP), responsible for providing ongoing courses on tax, financial, and auditing standards and topics.
