The CReCER event on Accounting and Auditing for Economic and Global Growth was conducted by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Global Public Policy Committee (GPPC) ). The GPPC brings together representatives from the six largest global accounting networks – BDO International, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG International and PwC.
The Group of Latin American Accounting Standard Setters (GLASS), represented by Vice-President Jorge José Gil, participated in the 10th edition of the CReCER Regional Conference, held on 21-22 May in the city of San Jose, Costa Rica.
Jorge Gil participated in a panel on Accounting and Financial Reports – public and private – together with Amaro Gomes (Iasb), John Stanford (IPSASB), and Heriberto Vilela do Nascimento (Brazil).
The College of Public Accountants of Costa Rica participated in the organization of the 10th edition of CReCER and held a professional training event open to the public on May 23rd.
