The members of the Group of Latin American Accounting Standard Setters – Glass met on 27, March, at the headquarters of the Federación Argentina de Consejos Profesionales de Ciencias Económicas (FACPCE).
Chaired by Brazilian accountant Eduardo Pocetti, the meeting was attended by IASB Vice President Sue Lloyd, IASB Board members Darren Scott and Amaro Gomes and Director Michelle Sanson. The Technical Vice President of the Brazilian Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC), Idesio Coelho, also attended the meeting.
Ana Maria Elorrieta, Board Member of the International Valuation Standards (IVS), gave a presentation on the structure, functions and objectives of the IVC.
After completing the presentations, the Board followed up on the themes set forth, as well as the progress reports of the Technical Working Groups.
