The Mexican Financial Information Standards Board (CINIF), responsible for the research, issuance and dissemination of Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and to achieve the convergence with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board Standards Board (IASB), will hold the International Seminar on IFRS and NIF. Trends and perspectives of the World Accounting Standards, March 6, at the Hotel Marquis Reforma in Mexico City.
This important event will be attended by Hans Hoogervorst, IASB President and Amaro Gomes, IASB Board member and CINIF Board directors: Biese William Decker, Luis A. Cortés Moreno, Elsa Beatriz Garcia Bojorges, Juan Mauricio Gras Gas and President Felipe Pérez Cervantes.
The Seminar seeks to share the experiences of the IASB and the CINIF in the adoption of IFRS, became effective in 2018 and 2019; communicate on-going projects and research topics on the IAS agenda; expose the progress of a new NIF in Virtual Assets close to auscultation; the proposals to the IASB for possible changes in IFRS resulting from the convergence of NIF with IFRS; beyond the expectations of the non-financial information to be provided by the companies.
