The Group of Latin American Accounting Standard Setters (GLASS) aims to work in partnership with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) on technical aspects, respecting the national sovereignty of each country member; promoting the adoption of convergence of international standards issued by the IASB; cooperating with governments, regulators and other regional organizations, national and international, that contribute to a better quality of financial demonstrations; and supporting the diffusion of standards issued by the IASB.
